The Budget

Sitting in the Best Western at Mt Shasta might be a remote location to consider the emergency budget and may have distorted the memory. However, I thought that Labour's planned increase in NI contributions was deemed to be a "tax on jobs". So what has changed? Equally, whilst it was obvious that an increase in VAT to 20% was inevitable, when did the Conservatives say they would implement it if they were elected? Comment:- A leopard never changes it's spots!
